Head Heart Body Therapy
A holistic approach for emotional, mental and physical wellness

About Me
Hi, I'm Lee Allard — founder of Head Heart Body Therapy. My passion for health and wellness has been a lifelong journey, one that naturally led me to the field of social work over 15 years ago. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, each one deepening my understanding and commitment to helping others.
In 2018, I completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, and ever since, I’ve been dedicated to refining my therapeutic approach. My goal is to offer support that truly aligns with the holistic philosophy behind Head Heart Body.

Somatic therapy is a form of body-centered therapy that looks at the connection of mind and body and uses talk-based therapy in combination with body and sensory work to help move emotions through your system, heal trauma, and enhance your ability to be more grounded, connected and able to be in the present moment.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) is an evidence-based approach that uses eye movements and internal imagery to help the brain process and heal from distressing memories, experiences, and beliefs. A.R.T. often produces significant relief within just a few sessions and is effective in addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, self-esteem concerns, addiction, and more.
CBT is an evidence-based approach that helps identify unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours that keep us stuck in cycles of distress and disconnection. CBT highlights the interconnectedness of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, working on all three levels to help us transform our lives and feel more aligned and whole.

How they make appointments
-
Start by booking a free 15-minute consultation. The consultation will give you an opportunity to get a sense of who I am and how you feel while talking to me. You can also ask me any questions you like in order to assess whether I am the right therapist for you. It is also an opportunity for me to better understand your needs and goals for therapy and assess whether I am the right therapist for what you are looking for.
-
I offer virtual appointments anywhere in Ontario and in-person appointments for those living in the Ottawa area. My office is located in Hintonburg.
-
Please refer to my Janeapp booking system for fees and availability. A sliding scale is available for clients whose financial situation would otherwise prevent them from accessing therapy. Please inquire about this during your 15-min consultation.
